The East Coast MediCenter is our newest state-of-the-art facility. This modern office was designed to house the latest in technology, while maintaining patient comfort and convenience. Our facility boasts the most contemporary digital radiography, including our own CT ('CAT') scanner, computer software, and on-site sterilization. There are several minor operatories allowing us to accommodate most patients quite quickly, as well as access to two fully-equipped medical grade operating rooms (O.R.'s).

This is OMS Consultants' main practice location. Any inquiries, referrals, and correspondence can be routed through this office. All types of services offered by our team of dedicated surgeons are available in this facility, with the exception of those services requiring overnight stays, which are performed in a hospital setting. Patients wishing to have general anaesthesia (being put to sleep) may also be accommodated in this modern and safe office environment.

The East Coast MediCenter is centrally located for easy access, adjacent to the Dartmouth General Hospital and close to the Woodside ferry terminal. We are located on the second floor of the building, and are wheelchair accessible with an elevator. There is ample free parking on-site, and allied dental and health-care professionals also work from this building and our office. We also have a large Continuing Education Centre for ongoing professional development.

Halifax

Our Halifax office is a charming 19th century Victorian home situated in the beautiful south end of Halifax. It is conveniently located close to the historic and beautiful Public Gardens and is almost adjacent to the Halifax Professional Centre. There is free parking in the rear of the building.

At the present time, only consultations are available at the Halifax office, but in the near future there may be some procedures available at this location.

Bridgewater

Our Bridgewater office is shared with other oral health care professionals in the South Shore Medical Arts building. It is conveniently located on a main thoroughfare, has ample free parking, and is next to the South Shore Regional Hospital. We offer primarily consultations at this office, but can also provide some minor surgical services under local anaesthesia ('freezing') on occasion. All of our surgeons are pleased to offer a broad range of surgical services under general anaesthesia at the adjacent South Shore Regional Hospital.

Truro

OMS Consultants currently offers our high standard of care in two offices in beautiful Truro, the hub of Nova Scotia. We are pleased to accept patients from this and the surrounding communities in order to provide you with the convenience of being close to home. Our offices are shared with two modern dental practices in Truro: East Coast Dental Centre, close to the hospital; and Alliance Dental Care in the Fundy Trail Centre, close to Highway TC-102. Both facilities offer abundant, free parking.

From our Truro locations, Drs. Marco Chiarot and Joel Powell offer a broad range of oral & maxillofacial surgery, including consultations, dental implant and related procedures, wisdom teeth and extractions. We can also provide I.V. Sedation ('twilight sleep') for our patients' comfort. Some larger cases and even inpatient/overnight care can be provided at the local Colchester Regional Hospital.

Marco Chiarot and Joel Powell are pleased to offer the local and surrounding communities a broad scope of consultation and office-based surgical services at our Yarmouth office, including dental implant placement, bone grafts, wisdom teeth surgery, and the removal of teeth. I.V. Sedation ('twilight sleep') is also available for our patients' comfort during procedures, using state-of-the-art monitoring equipment for your safety.
